Dodge Daytona Oxygen Sensor Parts Questions & Answers

  • Q: How to Replace an Oxygen Sensor?
A: Replace the oxygen sensor at the specified interval. Thread the sensor into the exhaust manifold and on some models, lift the front of the vehicle and support it firmly on jackstands. Unplug the oxygen sensor wire. Use a wrench to unscrew the sensor. Use a tap to clean the threads in the exhaust manifold. To install a new sensor, apply an anti-seize compound to the threads. Install the sensor, tighten it to the specified torque and plug in the connector.
