- Q:How do you remove the air intake assembly for the 1994 Jeep Wrangler? Posted by Customer
- A:Start by detaching the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Then, remove the air filter from the housing and inspect it for dirt and moisture. Lift up on the clips or remove the band clamp that holds the air intake assembly to the throttle body. Remove the clamp retaining the air intake assembly to the housing and lift the air intake tube from the engine compartment. Next, remove the nut from the bottom of the air cleaner housing and partially lift the housing up. Detach the warm air hose from the bottom of the housing and label and remove any vacuum hoses.
