Then, remove the fasteners that attach the upper end of the shock to the frame and disconnect the stabilizer bar link from the lower control arm. Remove the fasteners attaching the lower end of the shock absorber to the lower control arm and finally, remove the shock absorber. Inspect the shock absorber, coil spring, and spring seats for any damage or wear. If any components are worn or damaged, have the unit serviced by a qualified repair shop or replace it. To install the shock absorber, follow the reverse steps of removal, ensuring that the fasteners are tightened to the specified torque. Finally, tighten the wheel lug nuts to the torque.
