- Q:How to Remove the Air Filter Box? Posted by Customer
- A:To remove the air intake duct, disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and loosen the two hose clamp screws. Detach the air intake duct from the air filler box and throttle body. Loosen the hose clamps securing the air intake duct to the air filter box cover and throttle body, then remove the duct. To remove the air filter box, first remove the air intake duct. Then, remove the air filter box mounting bolt and detach the box from the upper radiator cross member. Pull the box straight up to disengage the two grommets on the underside from their corresponding locator pins on the vehicle. Inspect the rubber mounting grommets for any damage and replace if necessary. Installation is the reverse of removal.Posted by MoparPartsGiant Specialist
