- A:Start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal and pumping the brake pedal to deplete the vacuum reserve in the power brake booster. Use a syringe or equivalent to siphon the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir. Remove the air filter housing and unbolt the underhood fuse/relay box. Disconnect the brake fluid level switch connector from the reservoir. Place rags under the fittings and prepare caps or plastic bags to cover the ends of the lines once they're disconnected. Disconnect the fluid lines from the master cylinder with a flare-nut wrench and remove the nuts attaching the master cylinder to the power booster.Posted by MoparPartsGiant Specialist
