To remove the sensor, unlock and disconnect the electrical connector by pushing the lock towards the harness and depressing the release tab. Note the orientation of the sensor before removing it.

How to Remove and Install the IAT Sensor? Posted by Customer
A:
On 3.7L V6 and 4.7L V8 engines, the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located on the left side of the intake manifold. On Hemi engines, the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located at the right front corner of the air resonator box. To disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, depress the tab and pull off the connector. To remove the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, lift up the release tab slightly, then turn the sensor 1/4-turn counterclockwise and pull it out. Be sure to remove the old O-ring from the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor and inspect it for damage. If the O-ring is damaged, replace it. To install the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, insert it into its mounting hole and rotate it clockwise 1/4-turn, making sure the release tab locks the sensor into place. Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal.

To remove the IAT sensor, disconnect the electrical connector by depressing the tab and pulling it off. Lift up the release tab slightly, rotate the sensor counterclockwise 1/4-turn, and pull it out. Remove the old O-ring from the IAT sensor and inspect it for damage. If necessary, replace the O-ring.
