Q:
Where is the IAT Sensor Located on Chrysler 300? Posted by Customer
A:
The Intake Manifold Temperature sensor is located on the air intake duct of all engines. The exact location may vary depending on the engine, but the same sensor is used for all engines. To remove the sensor, unlock and disconnect the electrical connector by pushing the lock towards the harness and depressing the release tab. Note the orientation of the sensor before removing it. To install a new or old sensor, it must be correctly oriented. Grasp the sensor firmly and pull it straight out of the air intake duct. The installation process is the reverse of removal.

Q:
Where is the IAT Sensor Located on Chrysler Town & Country? Posted by Customer
A:
The Intake Manifold Temperature sensor is located on the air intake duct and is virtually identical on all models. To remove the sensor, disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and then disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor. Pull the sensor out of the air intake duct and inspect the condition of the mounting hole. If necessary, replace the air intake duct. To reinstall, simply reverse the removal process.

Q:
How to Install an IAT/MAP Sensor on Dodge Ram 2500 and Ram 2500? Posted by Customer
A:
Disconnect the cable(s) from the negative battery terminal(s). On gasoline engines, the Intake Manifold Temperature sensor is located in the air inlet duct or in the front of the intake manifold air box plenum, depending on the engine type. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Manifold Temperature sensor and lift up the release tab slightly, then turn the sensor counterclockwise and pull it out. Remove the old O-ring from the Intake Manifold Temperature sensor and inspect it for damage. To install the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, insert it into its mounting hole and rotate it clockwise. For diesel engines, the Intake Manifold Temperature/MAP sensor is located on top of the intake manifold, below and behind the EGR valve. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Manifold Temperature/MAP sensor and remove the two mounting screws. Remove the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor from the intake manifold and inspect the O-ring for damage. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring the mounting screws are tightened securely.
