About Dodge D150

Dodge D150 is a full-size pickup truck manufactured and sold by Dodge, an American brand of the FCA US LLC, which is a subsidiary of an Italian controlled automobile manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. from 1961 to 1980. The first Dodge D150 was introduced as a member of the long-running and renowned Dodge D/W Series, which is also the replacement for Dodge C Series. "D" stands for 4x2 models and "W" represents 4x4 models. Built based on the AD platform with Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster, Dodge D150 was replaced by Dodge Ram D150 in 1980 when all Dodge trucks were renamed Ram after being produced through three generations.
The second-generation Dodge D150 (1965-1971) received a mildly redesign in the spring of 1965 and made its debut as either a 2-door or 4-door pickup truck. It came with trim levels such as base Adventurer, Adventurer Sport and Adventurer SE as well as a Dude Sport Trim Package. And Dodge D150 was powered by engines ranging from 3.7 L to 4.6 L V8 engines and engines sent power through 3-speed, 4-speed manual and 3-speed automatic transmission. The third-generation Dodge D150 (1972-1980) was redesigned again. It featured a more rounded look, an independent front suspension, pocketed taillights, scalloped hood and rounded fenderwalls. Li' I Red Express, Warlock, Macho Power Wagon, Macho Power Wagon Top Hand, Macho Power Wagon Palomino, Adventurer and Midnite Express were available. And it also added a 2-door extended cab pickup truck. Engine options still varied from 1.7 L I6 to 4.4 L V8 and they were mated to the same transmissions.
