- Q: How to Remove and Replace the Throttle Body on Chrysler 200?A: Disconnect the negative battery cable from the remote ground terminal or battery. Remove the engine cover. Detach the air intake duct or resonator, as applicable, from the throttle body. Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector. If equipped, remove the throttle body support bracket. Remove the throttle body mounting fasteners and detach the throttle body from the upper intake manifold. Remove the throttle body gasket and inspect it for cracks, tears, and deterioration. If it isn't in perfect condition, replace it. Make sure that the gasket mating surfaces of the throttle body and the intake manifold are clean. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the throttle body bolts to the torque.
