How to remove and install the heater/air conditioner control assembly on Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the center trim bezel. Remove the center air duct. Remove the A/C Switch retaining screws. Pull out the control assembly and disconnect the electrical connectors, control cables, and the vacuum hoses. Installation is the reverse of removal.
