Is There Any Play in the Suspension Balljoints?

Suspension balljoints should be checked for play by wiggling the snapped-off grease fitting. If any movement is felt, the balljoint must be replaced. Take the control arm to an automotive machine shop to have the old balljoint pressed out and a new one pressed in.
