First of all, turn the ignition key out of the key lock cylinder. The positions of the wiper arms shall be marked and then the wiper arms are pulled away by drawing a line across the stud and the wiper arm with paint so as to ensure they can be reinstalled in the same positions to the windshield. Second, one has to take off the cowl grille screens. Pull off the windshield wiper motor connector, and unbolt the windshield wiper module assembly which entails, removing the wiper motor electric connector, and removing the bolts, those at the right and left sides of the wiper module respectively. Next to that, take out the crank arm nut together with the wiper motor mounting bolts and after that you can disconnect the motor from the assembly. For installation, carry out the process in the reverse of above removal process; make sure to issue power to the wiper motor on and off to check that it is in the Park position before re-installing the wiper arms. As for the rear, it is necessary, first of all, to turn the ignition key counterclockwise until it falls out of the key lock cylinder. Locate the wiper arm for the rear windscreen and then unclip it, it may be necessary to use a battery terminal puller or similar device to pull the arm from the wiper shaft. Liftgate trim panel has to be unbolted, the wiper motor harness connector has to be unplug, the mounting bolts of the rear wiper motor assembly have to be loosened and finally the rear wiper motor assembly has to be detached. Last but not the least, for the installation procedure, reverse all the steps given for the removal process but always switch 'ON' the wiper motor and 'OFF' it to ensure that the motor is in the 'Park Position' before proceeding to reinstall the wiper arms.
