How to remove and install a hood on Chrysler Sebring?

Hood removal and installation requires two people and protective coverings for the car body. Before removal, mark alignment around bolt heads and hinge locations. Release the upper support strut mounting clip and remove top bolts, then loosen bottom bolts. With help, remove bottom bolts and lift off the hood, detaching any lamp wire connector and windshield washer hose. Installation is the reverse. Adjustments can be made by moving the hood after loosening bolts. Adjust hood bumpers to ensure flush closure. The hood latch can also be adjusted and should be lubricated periodically with white lithium-based grease.
