To remove the front bumper cover, the first step is to set the
Hood Latch and open the hood, the other is to take out the fasteners that attach the
Grille to the radiator support and the upper mounting fasteners of the front bumper cover. Moving on, further take out the headlight housing, afterwards the bolts that hold the bumper cover to the headlight mounting panel on either side of the grille. Jack up the car and use jackstands to support it after that, remove the front wheels. There are some screws in this region; unscrew the fasteners for the front inner fender splash shield to accommodate the bolts for the fixing of the front cover to the fender and also the fasteners for the bottom of the bumper cover. If required, remove the fog light, parking, and turn signal electrical connector before the removal of the bumper cover from the car; the procedure for installation is the reverse of the removal one. For the rear bumper cover, stand the rear of the car off the ground, with the liftgate open, and supported on jackstands. The upper mounting fasteners are to be relaxed first and taking out the lower ones that hold the bumper cover in place. If so configurated, then disconnect the parking assist electrical connector, pull the hooks on the sides of the bumper cover out of the tabs in the rear cover brackets and then to remove the rear bumper cover from the vehicle and the installation process is the reverse of the removal process.
