Each headlight features an adjusting screw for vertical adjustment, with no horizontal adjustment available. To adjust the headlights, position the vehicle in an open area with a blank wall and a level floor, then place masking tape vertically on the wall to align with the vehicle centerline and the centerlines of both headlights. A horizontal tape line should be positioned at the centerline of the headlights, ideally with the vehicle parked just a few inches away for easier tape placement. Adjustments should be made with the vehicle parked 25 feet from the wall, sitting level, with a full gas tank and no unusually heavy load. The high intensity zone should be vertically centered, with the exact center about three inches below the horizontal line, and it is advisable to have the headlights adjusted by a qualified technician at the earliest opportunity. For vehicles equipped with optional fog lights, park 25 feet from the wall, tape a horizontal line representing the height of the fog lights, and tape another line four inches below it. Using the adjusting screw on each fog light, adjust the beam pattern so that the top of the fog light beam meets the lower line on the wall, repeating the procedure for the other fog light. For trucks equipped with an optional light bar, park 25 feet from the wall, attach a horizontal piece of tape at seven feet, nine inches from the ground, cover three of the four lights, and aim the fourth using the adjustment screw in the rear, ensuring the center of its high intensity zone aligns with the tape line, then repeat for the other light(s).
