In order to access the floor console, one has to first unbolt the negative battery terminal and shift all the seats forward. They are plastic pieces and can be removed by levering them out with a small screwdriver that is present on the side of the console; you will also remove the arm rest riser screws, this requires the removal of the coin holder. It will be useful then to pull to the seats to the rear and remove the clips around the center bezel using the help of the screwdriver and pull off the center bezel. Take out the shift knob by pulling it directly up as much as possible and twist the shift position (PRNDL) plate to detach it. After that, unscrew the mounting screws/bolts and take out the console, and finally raise the console up. Disconnect the electrical connectors if necessary, and then remove the console from the car; installation is the opposite procedure. For the overhead console, you have to unscrew the console from the reinforcement bracket, slide it back to come out of the bracket, lower the console slightly to allow you to disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the overhead console and installation is in the same process with the reverse procedure.
