Loosen the front wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands before removing the front wheel and
Grille. For 2007 and earlier models, remove the rivets securing the flare molding to the fender and fascia, ensuring they are carefully drilled out. Pry the fender flare away from the front fascia to release the clip, and for 2008 and later models, remove the mounting screws once the flare is pried out. Remove the pushpin securing the inner splash shield to the air dam, followed by the remaining pushpins securing the splash shield, then take the shield off the vehicle. For 2005 and later models, remove the front bumper fascia to access the front fender bolts. Release the clips located between the lights in the fascia, then pull the fascia to one side to access the front fender bracket bolts. For 2008 and later models, remove the fascia support bracket bolts and bracket. Remove the bolts from the front of the fender at the lower support bracket, ensuring the lower pinch weld trim is pulled away for access, and the top bolts should be the last to be removed. Remove the three bolts from the top of the fender, followed by the bolts from the rear of the fender, noting that the two upper rear mounting bolts can be removed when the door is partly open. If working on the right fender, unscrew the antenna mast and remove the antenna body. Pull outward on the upper rear of the fender, then remove the antenna base cover, the nut beneath it, and the bezel adapter. Carefully lift the fender from the vehicle, ideally with assistance to prevent damage to surrounding body panels, and installation is the reverse of removal.
