How to Remove and Install the A/C Switch on Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the center trim bezel. Pull the bezel forward and disconnect the electrical connectors. Note: On 2014 and later models, the A/C Switch is incorporated into the trim bezel and must be replaced as an assembly. On 2013 and earlier models, remove the mounting screws and detach the air conditioning and heater control assembly. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. For Durango models, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Using a trim tool, carefully disengage the four mounting clips and separate the controller from the headliner. Note: It's a good idea to place a piece of folded cardboard between the headliner and the trim tool before trying to pry the controller downwards. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the controller and remove the controller. Installation is the reverse of removal.
