To get rid of the components, it is required to detach the wire first to the negative terminal of the battery. Lift the front of the car and make sure that it is firmly supported on jackstands, turn on the parking brake and make sure the rear wheels will not move. Suction the engine oil and next, the lower splash shield bolts to be removed plus the splash shield. Next remove the dipstick tube mounting bolt and turn anticlockwise to pull out the dipstick tube on the upper oil pan. Screw out the exhaust pipe to
Exhaust Manifold bolts and drop the exhaust; unbolt the stabilizer bar and the through bolt of engine mount. By employing an engine hoist lift the engine upward slightly so that the engine fan is close to the fan shroud before removing the front axle assembly. Last, take off the bolt around the perimeters and carefully un-bond the oil pan from the engine block and take off the gasket. In this case for installation, the pan need to be clean, there should be no sealant or gasket material residue on the surfaces where the engine block and the pan meet or on the holes of the bolts. Look on the oil pan flanges for distortion and if there is any flatten them. Skim some RTV sealant on as may be necessary and fit a new gasket on the oil pan flange. Place the oil pan in the right direction on the engine block and put the bolts then tighten it in a proper sequence in the correct torque. The remaining parts must be re-installed in the reverse manner, more engine oil supplied, starting and running the engine until it attains a regular temperature and this accompanies a leakage check.
