How to Remove a Heater/Air Conditioning Control Assembly on Jeep Wrangler?

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the instrument panel bezel, radio, and center section (1987-1995) or glove box and center bezel (1997-2011). Unplug the electrical connectors and release the control cable locking tab (1987-1995). Detach the ring from the arm (1987-1995) or unplug the three electrical connectors (1997-later). Remove the A/C switch assembly (2012-later). Installation is reverse of removal.
