How to replace the Fog Light Bulb, exterior and interior lights on a Chrysler 300? Posted by Customer
    A:
All Chrysler 300 models have different kinds of lights on the inside and outside. The front park/turn signal bulb you need to replace lives just below the high-beam in the headlight housing. You can replace it by itself, but you might have to take out the entire housing if you have tight space. Just like the headlights, both front parking bulbs are inside the headlight housing, and replacing them uses the same steps. The marker lights on each side of the front are easy to replace using either below-car access or when we dismantle the full headlight units. The fog light bulbs sit in the front bumper cover and need to lift the car to remove and put back on. Each LED in the center brake light cannot be replaced. You need to lift the trunk and take out the entire tail light assembly to access and replace the bulbs inside. You find the light bulb for your license plate light when you take away the part of the bumper at the back of your car. For all lighting components found inside the car, there are special ways to take them apart and reconnect them so they stay working correctly.

How to replace Fog Light Bulb on Chrysler PT Cruiser? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the fog light the following processes have to be followed, Loosen the front wheel lug nuts and lift the vehicle; remove the wheel. Next, unbolt the fenderwell splash shield and swing it to the side for fog light access as shown in fig 2. Stuck the bulb electrical connector, and turn the bulb holder anticlockwise and pull out from the housing. Instead of replacing the bulb separately from the holder, both are replaced together with much attention given not to touch the bulb surface with fingers so as to avoid making it hot. For the tail light, using a Torx head screw driver, remove the screw that fastens the housing to the quarter panel after which the housing has to be pulled out and to put in a new bulb, turn the holder anti clock wise. To replace the license plate light, one will need to unscrew the Torx-head screws, disconnect the assembly and replace the bulb which will be done by pulling it out vertically. For the back-up light, simple unscrew or pry the housing out, then turn the bulb holder counter clockwise and pull the bulb out. The high-mounted brake light can be replaced very easily; one has to pry off the trim cover, remove the lens and then pull the bulbs right out. To get to the instrument cluster lights it is necessary to pull out the cluster, then turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise. Courtesy/reading light Just pull the lens of this product from the housing and then you can remove the bulb from the spring clips. The dome light what requires is little more effort to pry out the left side of the lens and then pull the bulb directly out. Lastly for the cargo light, the access door and jack bag needs to be taken off, light housing to be disconnected, the bulb is to be pulled straight out and one has to push the new bulb in the lens holder before finally fixing the lens holder.

How to replace Fog Light Bulb and other bulbs on Dodge Caravan? Posted by Customer
    A:
First for the replacement of the exterior light bulbs take out the front park and turn signal bulb, first by unscrewing the headlight housing, disconnecting the electrical connectors and then removing the bulb socket by rotating anti clockwise. To replace a bad bulb, carefully twist the bulb and pull it up and out, insert new bulb and repeat the procedure in the reverse order. For front fog light bulbs: lift the vehicle, snap off the electrical connector, turn the socket anti-clockwise to unbolt it, and then replace the bulb/socket assembly and do not touch the bulb surface. For the center high-mounted brake light bulb, first, there will be two or three screws that hold it in place, unscrew it, next you take out the whole assembly and then remove the bulb from it. For tail light bulbs the retaining screws should be withdrawn, then the assembly should be turned in order to unlock it, the electrical connector should be disconnected and finally the bulb socket should be removed by pressing both tabs. Remove the bulb by pulling it directly upwards and the installation is done in the same manner. For license plate light bulbs, the screws which hold it must be undone, and the assembly pulled down so that the bulb can be pulled out of the socket. Starting with the interior light bulbs, the first one is the instrument cluster These are removed, rotated anticlockwise and then replaced with a new one by rotating the bulb socket in the clockwise direction. For courtesy lights unscrew the light from the door trim, pull the electrical connector, unscrew the lens and change the bulb. For dome/cargo lights you get to the profile of the light and pry off the lens you thereafter remove the bulb and repeat the process in order to install the bulb. For the glove box light, first, open the glove box then push the switch through the hole then remove the electrical connector more the bulb from the switch. To change the liftgate light bulb, one has to gently pull the lens of the trim panel to be able to remove the bulb and then just do it in reverse. For reading lights using lens, the lens should be removed by twisting it in anti-clockwise direction to unclip the bulb from the reflector while installation is in reverse procedure. Q:
How to replace the Fog Light Bulb and other light bulbs on Dodge Durango? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace they front park/turn signal/sidemarker light bulbs one has to turn on the engine and the wheels to make space or remove the wheel by loosing the nuts then raising the car. Inside the wheel housing you would see an access panel, you would seize the electrical connector and pull it off by unlocking the lock first, then you would rotate counter clockwise the bulb socket. Twist the bulb clockwise and anti-clockwise and then replace it with a new one by inserting it into the socket until it fits in properly in an opposite manner as used during removal. For fog light bulbs, the electrical connector can be released by pulling the locking tab, the socket should then be unscrewed anticlockwise and the bulb should be pulled out and the same process should be reversed when replacing a bulb. To change the center high mounted brake light bulb, the housing has to be unscrewed and the electrical connector disconnected, then the bulb socket has to be rotated and pulled out together with the bulb, after which a new one has to be inserted by pushing it in until it clicks back in place. The rear taillight assembly have four bulbs; to change it one has to open the liftgate then remove the push pin fasteners, then disconnect the electrical connector, and finally remove the bulb socket plate by unscrewing it, the desired bulb can then be pulled out and for installation, a new one is inserted by pushing it up to the desired position. For the license plate light bulb, unscrew the two small screws to come out the housing, then rotate the socket one turn clockwise to remove it, then the bulb can be removed by pulling it straight up and the new one has to be inserted in the same manner until it engages into the socket. For interior lights the switch housing should be carefully unclipped, electrical connectors shall be disconnected, lens shall be removed, the bulb has to be gently pulled down and a new one has to be inserted by fixing it in the appropriate terminals while reversing the procedure. Replacement of vanity light bulbs involves usually detaching the lens from the visor, then using pliers to extract the bulb and put in a new one in the same manner till it fits properly. For the dome light, pry down the left side of the lens and carefully pull out the bulb in a straight down motion, to replace it, place the new bulb in an up-direction until it clicked into position in the reverse procedure. For replacing the illumination bulbs of front and rear heater/air conditioning control assembly, first remove these assemblies, then unscrew the bulb holders anti-clockwise and the bulbs can be replaced by fixing new ones in similar fashion by turning these holders clockwise. The housing has to be removed and the cover plate unscrewed in order to reach the bulb which is located in the instrument panel center bezel; to replace, pull the bulb out straight then push in a new one until you hear a click in reverse order. Last but not least for the glove box light bulb, the way to replace it involves pulling down the glove box and taking out the light bulb, after which the new one is fitted into the socket and pushed back to the required extent.

    A:
To take out the front turn signal, parking, and side marker lights on the 2007 and earlier models, remove the lens screw, and nudge the outer part of the lens to release the inner tab; pull the light housing out from the fascia. For the 2008 and later models, the steering wheel should be twisted to reveal the side to be changed, the push-pins on the side of the inner fender splash shield should be removed and the splash shield should be pulled forward to reveal the bulb. For rear tail light, brake light and turn signal, open the tailgate, remove the screws for mounting and pull back on the lens to free of ballstuds. In the 2007 and earlier mode, the bulb socket has to be rotated anti-clockwise to have it unscrewed while in the 2008 and later models, the black back plate screws need to be unscrewed and the bulb pulled out. Only the 2008 and later models feature a high mounted brake light for which the brake light LEDs are integrated into the housing and in order to access the bulb holders, screws need to be removed. For the instrument cluster lights, then you will need to disassemble the cluster where the bulb socket can be unscrewed anti-clockwise. For the license plate light, on 2007 and earlier models, one has to unscrew it and pull through the fascia while for 2008 and earlier models, one has to use a screwdriver to press on the release tab to remove the lens. Q:
How to replace the Fog Light Bulb, exterior and interior lights on a Dodge Magnum? Posted by Customer
    A:
Each Dodge Magnum comes with different lights inside and outside. When you need to change the bulbs for your front parking and turn signals, you should start by looking inside the headlight case above the low beam bulb. Replacing the bulbs won't require you to take the housing off unless the space is really tight. Start by reaching into the air filter housing area to disconnect the electrical connection and turn bulb holder counterclockwise to take it out. Simply pull the old bulb straight out, and push a new one into the socket. Front side outline lights are mounted inside the headlight bucket. Remove it by detaching the electrical plug, then spin off the holder to remove it by turning it counter-clockwise. Pull off the front bumper splash shield to access the fog light bulbs; lift the car first for easier access. When replacing the center brake lights, you need to take out the back spoiler and housing since the lights are made up of permanent LED lights. To replace the tail light bulbs, start by opening the liftgate. Then press out the push pin fasteners, lift off the housing, and the bulb holder will be visible. Replace the license plate light bulb by first removing the screws holding the housing onto the back bumper. Then take those parts off to reach the bulb. Getting to the trunk light requires pushing down on a latch, then yanking out the bulb. Carefully take off the light lens before unplugging the switch and putting in a new bulb for reading light bulbs. To replace these vanity bulbs, you take off the lens to reveal the bulb, push or pull it out, and push it back gently into the socket. Twilight-safe parking lights in your front door come out when you pry off the light cover plate from inside the door panel. To get to the bulb in rear reading lights, you have to take out the lens first.

How to replace exterior light bulbs and Fog Light Bulb on Jeep Patriot? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace exterior light bulbs, turn off the engine and pull the emergency brake, then unplug the battery's negative terminal. For front park and turn signal bulbs, turn the steering wheel, remove the fasteners of fenderwell splash shield, snap off the electrical connector, turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise and slide out. New bulb should then be installed in its holder. For fog light bulbs, undo the wheel lug nuts, lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Once more, together with the fenderwell splash shield of the vehicle, the fasteners should be removed, and the electrical connector detached, and possibly, at the same time as the connector, the retaining screws. By unscrewing the latches, both on each side of the bracket, the bulb can be pulled out easily. The center high mounted brake light likewise involves the removal of the screws, pulling out of the electrical connection and washer hose and total removal of the light. For taillight bulbs, follow the instructions given below for replacement: For license plate light bulbs, remove lens cover, extract the bulb and replace it in the reverse method. Interior lights: For the instrument cluster LEDs it is not possible to replace individual LEDs, and for the dome/reading lights , first thing that needs to be done is to remove the lens cap gently which has to be then put back in the reverse manner.

How to Replace Fog Light Bulbs Along with Other Interior and Exterior Light Bulbs on Jeep Wrangler? Posted by Customer
    A:
The lenses of many of the exterior lights are fastened by screws permitting ease of access to the bulbs; some of the lights have lenses clipped in by unsnapping or using a small screw driver. To replace a fog light bulb, first, you need to unscrew the reflector to fog light housing and pull the reflector assembly out, then you have to unscrew the bulb retainer clip, this will release the bulb and you then take it out. A few kinds of bulbs are installed: some are inserted and twisted in the opposite direction to unscrew; others can be unhooked or removed by pulling up. For interior lights, to get to the instrument panel lights, the panel has to be pulled out after which the bulbs are pulled out. The bulbs in the dome light are situated behind a lens that has to be removed to gain access to the bulbs, just pull them straight up from the socket. The lens of the cargo light can be flipped down by inserting a small screwdriver in a groove in the housing in order to access the bulb.
