    Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and gently pry the rear control bezel assembly from the headliner. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the control assembly. Remove the mounting fasteners and then remove the control assembly from the bezel.

    Remove the radio and heater/air conditioning control bezel assembly from the instrument panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the heater/air conditioning control assembly. On models with automatic temperature control, also disconnect the additional electrical connector for the infrared sensor. Remove the mounting fasteners at each corner and then remove the control assembly from the bezel.

    Remove the upper attaching screws for the dash. Loosen the lower left attaching screw from the dash and remove the lower right attaching screw from the dash. Carefully pull out the right end of the dash and allow it to rest on the passenger's seat.
