Start by removing the negative battery cable from the remote ground terminal or battery to change the halogen headlights in Chrysler Sebring sedan, Chrysler Sebring convertible, and Chrysler 200. From within the engine space, unplug all light wires attached to the rear of the lamp assembly. Turn the bulb clockwise while pulling it straight out of its housing. Push the three notches on your bulb's mounting bracket into the attachment hole on your car's headlight housing, then push the bulb firmly into the headlight and turn it right until it locks into place. Keep your hands off the front of the bulb - oil from your skin can make the bulb heat up and break sooner; when you do touch it, quickly clean it with rubbing alcohol. Finally, installation is the reverse of removal.

In order not to dismantle the headlight housing in changing a halogen headlight bulb, first loose the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. if so, take off the front lamp unit top cover. Subsequently, the electrical connector connected to the headlight bulb holder to expose the bulb and thereafter, pulling out the bulb socket out of the headlight housing. Removal can be done in two ways, viz: installation. For halogen bulbs, the process is pretty much the same, but for High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, follow the same process, but with this additional advice below.
