    The Intake Manifold Temperature sensor must be installed correctly in the air duct or housing. The sensor is located on the air filter housing or air inlet ducting. To remove the sensor, disconnect the electrical connector and turn it 1/4-turn counterclockwise before pulling it out. Replace the O-ring if necessary. Installation is the reverse of removal.

    The Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is installed on the air intake duct on all the engines and uses the same type of Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor irrespective of the duct design. To remove the electrical connector you should push the lock towards the harness so that it clicks, secondly, while keeping the lock in that position you should pull the releasing tab and took the connector off. Of which it is important to point out the installation orientation of the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor according to the engine's installation. For 2.7 L, 3.5 L, and 5.7 L engines, it is necessary to remove the sensor: by holding the sensor firmly and pulling it out of an aspect of the rubber duct, its position has to remain unchanged. For other engines, if there is a locking tab, it will have to be pulled up and the sensor needs to be turned anti-clockwise by 90 degrees and then removed from the duct, and the O-ring must be checked for replacements, if any. Removal and Installation are virtually opposite in the perspective, which will be described further in the article.

Distance sensors are used to measure the speed and pass a voltage signal to the computer; it can be replaced at the rear or the transfer case. The camshaft position sensor is also used to time the fuel injection system in conjunction with the crankshaft position sensor, and the former may be located differently or replaced in a different manner depending on the model of the engine. The accelerator pedal position sensor in newer models is integrated with the pedal assembly, which means that the whole assembly has to be replaced if is not working.
