With jack stands, lift and support the rear of the vehicle, then remove the wheels and disconnect the air suspension if fitted. Take off the mounting bolts to detach the shock absorber. For coil springs, lower the jack a bit so that the compression is relieved, and then remove the spring. Ensure that there is no leakage on the shock absorber while carrying out a smooth action test; otherwise, change it. If they are destroyed, replace them. Next, you have to properly seat springs, raise axle, and install shock bolts back. Fasten reinstalling the air suspension once more if used before lowering the automobile and tightening the lower bolt.
