Disconnect the hose from the coolant reservoir. Remove the mounting fasteners for the reservoir (Remove the two reservoir mounting fasteners (2010 and earlier model shown, 2011 and later models similar)). Remove the coolant reservoir/overflow tank. Installation is the reverse of removal. Replace any lost coolant in the cooling system. For 2016 and later 3.6L V6 models, drain the cooling system to a point that is lower than the expansion tank. Peel the hood seal from its welt and move it out of the way. Squeeze the hose clamps and slide them back on the hoses, then disconnect the hoses from the expansion tank ( There's also a mounting bolt at the extension at the bottom of the tank). Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the expansion tank. Installation is the reverse of removal. Refill the cooling system.
