First of all, to remove the Sway Bar Kit, apply the parking brake, loosen the front lug nuts, and lift the vehicle. You can remove the front wheels and detach the links. Remove the nuts and take off the bar. For installation, position the Sway Bar Bushing on the bar, and raise the bar.

To remove the Sway Bar Kit on 2007 and earlier models, raise the vehicle, support it on jackstands, unbolt the bar, and slide it out. Inspect for cracks and fatigue. To install, guide the bar into place, install bolts, and tighten. For 2008 and later models, loosen lug nuts, raise the vehicle, remove wheels, detach the bar link nuts, unbolt the bushing clamps, and remove the bar. Inspect and clean Sway Bar Bushing. Lubricate new bushing with vegetable oil for reassembly. Ensure bushing slits face the rear. Reinstall in reverse order, lower vehicle, and tighten fasteners.
