Hub and bearing assembly is precluded for rebuild; if it is worn or damaged, it must be replaced with a complete assembly. To trim, initially, the wheel lug nuts should be undone, the car must be lifted and then placed on jack stands in the frame rails region before the removal of the wheel. On 4WD models, turn the drive axle/hub nut before lifting the vehicle off the ground. Secondly, you should unscrew brake disc and then you can disconnect wheel speed sensor. Accessed from the back side of the steering knuckle, the hub retaining bolts are undone thus removing the hub from the steering knuckle. Before pulling the hub, loosen the drive axle/hub nut on 4WD models; if the hub is rusted use a two-jaw puller. For installation, it is necessary to clean the mating surfaces on the steering knuckle, bearing flange and the inside bore of the knuckle. Place the hub and bearing assembly to the requested steering knuckle and fix the bolts to the required torque. The procedure of installation is done in the reverse as that of the removal, particular attention made on tightening the drive axle/hub nut to the required torque for the 4WD models, mounting the brake caliper mounting bracket and the bolts to the respective torque, final putting of the wheel, lowering of the car, and tightening of the lugs nuts to the right torque.
