    Disconnect the negative battery cable and IBS connector (if equipped). Remove the lower instrument panel insulator and blower motor resistor/power module. Replace the entire unit if either fan or motor is damaged. Installation is reverse of removal.

    How to remove and install the blower motor and blower motor resistor on Jeep Grand Cherokee? Posted by Customer

    Disconnect the battery's negative terminal. Remove the glove box or air ducts. For Durango models with rear AC, remove the right rear quarter panel trim. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the blower motor resistor or power module. Remove the mounting screws and the resistor or power module. To remove the blower motor, disconnect the battery's negative terminal again. Remove the silencer from the passenger side of the instrument panel and the glove box. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor and remove the mounting screws to lower the motor. Replace the entire unit if damaged. For Durango models, disconnect the negative battery terminal, remove the right rear quarter trim panel, disconnect the electrical connectors to the blower motor, and remove the motor. Installation is the reverse of removal.
