They pertain on the front and rear coil springs. Start at the front wheel and free the lug nuts before lifting up the car and placing jackstands on its front part before removing the wheels. Loosen and remove the front driveshaft from the front differential pinion shaft yoke and secure the shaft off to the side with a piece of wire. Place the axle assembly on either a floor jack under the differential or as many as two for better stability if possible, then remove the lower suspension arms bolts that attach to the axle. Remove the nuts and bolts securing the stabilizer bar links' and shock absorbers at the front axle housing and including the track bar at the axle bracket. If one is doing a front coil spring put the drag link off the Pitman arm. Gradually lower the axle assembly till the coil springs are fully stretched out, with the help of an assistant supporting the right end if using a single jack and take off the spring from the car. Examine the spring for deep nicks and corrosion, if there is any doubtful conditions of the spring current then change it. To install the coil spring, get the position of the coil spring on the axle housing properly, then cover the bottom coil with the spring retainer and after that tighten the spring retainer bolt tightly. Lift the axle up as shown and bolt the lower suspension brackets to the axlehousing, torque to 16 ft. lbs. Should one be fixing a front coil spring one should join the drag link to the Pitman arm, then fit the track bar on to the bracket on the axle. Lastly, tighten the front stabilizer bar links to the front axle housing, fix the front shock absorbers to the front axle housing and bolt the front driveshaft to the differential pinion shaft yoke, fit the wheels and nuts and lower the vehicle properly tightening the nuts to the standard torque.
