To remove the sway bar kit, start by loosening the rear wheel lug nuts and raising the rear of the vehicle on jackstands. Block the front wheels and remove the rear wheels. Next, remove the nuts attaching the sway bar links and isolator bushings to the sway bar. Unbolt the sway bar clamps from the cross member. Once the clamps are removed, take note of the orientation of the sway bar bend at the end of the bar before removing it from the vehicle. The sway bar kit will come out between the exhaust pipe and the suspension cross member. To inspect the sway bar bushings, check for cracks, tears, or excessive wear. If any damage is found, replace the sway bar bushings. For installation, start by tightening the sway bar kit ends to the specified torque, then install the bushing clamps. Make sure the rubber bushings are installed with the slits positioned toward the front of the vehicle. Finally, install the rear wheels, lower the vehicle, and tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque.

Replace any damaged components before reinstalling the sway bar kit. To install the sway bar kit, position it and the bushings in the front cross member, then install the clamps and bolts. Align the sway bar kit attaching link assemblies with the mounting holes in the lower control arms and install the retaining nuts. Finally, install the wheels and lower the vehicle, tightening the lug nuts.
