To demount the devices, first of all, you should disconnect the wire from the minus terminal of the battery. Remove the right front wheel, the right inner splash shield Loose the lug nuts in the right front wheel, lift the vehicle and put it securely on jackstands. Turn the number one piston to the top dead center of the compression stroke, after that remove the drive belt for the air conditioning compressor and the serpentine belt for the alternator and power steering. In the next step, take out the serpentine belt tensioner pulley assemblies and the compressor drive belt tensioner pulley assembly, and the compressor mounting bracket. Remove the bolts which are used to connect the power steering pump to its mounting bracket and set the pump and the bracket aside. Disconnect the crankshaft pulley and the vibration damper, then unfasten the crankshaft sprocket flange-loose all the bolts while preventing the crankshaft from turning. Place the engine oil pan on a floor jack and put a wooden block under it, then place the marker on position in relation to the engine support assembly , remove the right engine mount and the bracket of the engine mount. Remove the timing belt covers, but remember that there are now several different sizes and types of bolts used. Ensure that the number one piston is at TDC during the compression stroke to ensure the timing mark on the timing belt sprockets have aligned. Reduce stress on the timing belt by loosening the nut that is located on the timing belt tensioner pully after which look at the timing belt noting on the wear or damage on both the back side of the belt and also the side that comes into contact with the teeth of the pulley. For installation, position the timing belt with the tensioner as far from the spring as is possible in the adjustment slot and screw in the locking bolt moderately tightly. Starting with the crankshaft sprocket, fitted the belt tightly on the tension side, and followed it, by fitting the front camshaft sprocket, water pump pulley, and the last, the rear camshaft sprocket while the timing marks are upright. Following the installation, release the tensioner nut so as to enable the spring to apply the right amount of pull on the belt. Rotate the crankshaft clockwise round two full revs to bring the number one piston back to TDC, if there is any drag felt which indicates that the pistons may be rubbing the valves then this must be corrected. Position all the timing marks correctly, then tighten the tensioner bolt some more, and verify that the degrees of deflection of the timing belt are correct; if not, replace the tensioner spring. Last but not the least, put the various part back into its own as a process of reassembly after they've been dismantled.
