    How to remove and install the oil cooler in 3.6L V6 engine on Jeep Wrangler? Posted by Customer

    Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Drain the coolant. Remove the lower intake manifold. Remove the oil cooler mounting fasteners by taking out the screws and then the bolts and cooler. Discard the seals from the oil cooler. For installation, install new seals to the oil cooler, place it onto the block, and install the two mounting screws. Then, install the mounting bolts and tighten the screws and bolts to the specified torque. The installation of the remaining components follows the reverse order of removal. Refill the cooling system, run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature, and check for leaks.
