For models through 1995 before removing the bumpers, any wiring or part that may hinder the process should be disconnected. Place the lower part of the bumper on a jack or a jackstand and remove the bolts that hold the bumper brackets to the car's frame, and then unbolt the bumper. After installation, the sequence is done in the reverse order in order to appropriately tighten up the retaining bolts and then put back in place any of the removed parts. For 2007 and later models, the front bumper consists of two components: the structural metal bumper and the bumper cover, the bolting of which parts is made with the same bolts being fastened to each other; these elements can be taken off from the car and then unbolted. In total there are eight mounting bolts, four externally and four internally, with the four external bolts located from the fenderwell while the four internal bolts are reached after the removal of the bumper top trim panel. Also, these bumpers have rear fins which can be changed independently of the bumpers and the procedure of the bumpers' mounting and dismantling is rather close to previous models.
