- A:Loosen the wheel lug nuts, then raise the vehicle and support it securely on jack stands. Remove the front wheel. Remove the fasteners retaining the fender inner splash shield. Remove the fender inner splash shield mounting fasteners. Remove the front bumper cover. Remove the headlight housings. Remove the fender mounting bolts. Detach the fender, it's a good idea to have an assistant support the fender while it's being moved away from the vehicle to prevent damage to the surrounding body panels.
