    Every 3000 miles or approximately every 3 months on the hinges and latch assemblies of the doors, hood and trunk apply a drop or two of light oil or lock lubricant. Also it is recommended that the door latch strikers are lubricated with a thin film of grease to reduce the strain that might result from friction. The door and trunk locks, it is also wise that these are lubricated using the spray-on graphite lubricant.

Also, spray on the door and trunk lock with the graphite lubricant spray type for easy opening.
