- A:For removing and installing the drag link, follow these steps:Loosen the wheel lug nuts.Raise the vehicle and securely support it on jackstands.Remove the nut from the drag link ball stud.Use a puller to separate the drag link from the Pitman arm.Loosen the nuts on the tie-rod end ball studs.Disconnect the tie-rod ends from the steering knuckle and drag link with a puller.Installation is the reverse of removal, and ensure all fasteners are tightened.Have the front end alignment checked and adjusted if necessary.Posted by MoparPartsGiant Specialist
