    How do you replace the Blower Motor resistor for the 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser? Posted by Customer

    To replace the blower motor resistor, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Then, remove the windshield wiper arms and the cowl grille screen from the plenum at the base of the windshield. On the right side of the cowl plenum area, disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor. Carefully pry the resistor with a flat-bladed screwdriver to release the snap fit and remove it. Make sure not to interchange the air conditioning and non-air conditioning resistors. To install, simply reverse the removal process.
