- A:Remove the throttle body upper and lower bonnets. Detach the injector connector by compressing the lock tabs and lifting up. Remove the retainer and gently pry the center collar of the injector to remove it. Discard the centering ring and upper and lower O-rings. Lubricate and install the replacement O-rings and centering ring. Align the injector with the housing and install it, followed by the retainer.
