    Remove all traces of old gasket material from the mating surfaces of the throttle body and intake manifold, inspect the mating surfaces of the throttle body and the manifold for nicks, burrs and debris that could cause air leaks, using a new gasket, place the throttle body in position and install the mounting bolts or nuts, tighten the bolts or nuts, following a criss-cross pattern, work up to the final torque in three or four steps.
