- Q:How do you remove the EGR valve for the 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee? Posted by Customer
- A:Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and drain the cooling system. Remove the engine cover, disconnect the electrical connector and cooler hose from the EGR valve. Remove the mounting nuts and detach the EGR valve from the cylinder head. Clean the mating surfaces and install a new gasket. Position the EGR valve against the cylinder head and tighten the nuts. Connect the cooler hose and install the clamp. Reconnect the electrical connector and install the engine cover.
