The PCV valve or CCV hose is in the rocker arm cover. If there's no vacuum when the engine is idling, check for a blocked hose or valve and replace if needed. If the PCV valve doesn't rattle when shaken, replace it. Ensure the replacement valve is for your specific vehicle and engine size. Inspect the rubber grommet for damage and replace if necessary. Later models use a CCV system with a rubber fitting connected to the intake manifold by a plastic hose. If there's no vacuum, clean the hose and fitting or replace if damaged.
