How do you remove the front and rear bumpers on Chrysler PT Cruiser?

To remove the front bumper, first open the hood and support it with the prop rod. Next, take off the radiator grille and remove the fasteners securing the front fender inner splash shields to the lower section of the bumper cover. Pull the splash shields away from the fenderwell as needed to access the bolts securing the bumper cover to the front fender. If applicable, disconnect the foglight wiring harness connectors and remove the fasteners securing the top edge of the bumper cover to the chassis. Disengage the bumper cover from the front fenders and carefully remove the bumper from the vehicle, placing blankets or suitable padding on the ground below to protect the paint in case it falls. If necessary, the bumper bar can be removed at this point, and installation follows the reverse order of removal. For the rear bumper, open the liftgate and remove the nuts retaining the bumper cover to the rear floor. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, then disconnect the license plate light and remove the rear wheel housing covers. Next, take out the fasteners or bolts securing the bumper cover, slide it rearward to disengage it, and remove it from the vehicle, again using blankets or padding to protect the paint.
