Remove the cable that is connected to the negative terminal of the battery, then, lift the car and support it on safety stands. Subsequently, remove the electrical connector from the power steering fluid pressure switch. To achieve this, the power steering fluid pressure switch should be loosened by having a deep socket and an extension to unscrew and then remove it. Thread the new switch and seal it with the Teflon tape thereafter; installation is just the opposite of removal with a lot of emphasis on switch tightness.
