How Do You Replace the EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid,Vapor Canister,Leak Detection Pump (LOP), or Natural Vacuum Leak Detection (NVLD) Assembly on Chrysler Town & Country?

The Evaporative Emissions Control (EVAP) system absorbs fuel vapors and releases them into the intake manifold. The system includes the EVAP canister and Leak Detection Pump (LOP) or Natural Vacuum Leak Detection (NVLD) assembly, located under the vehicle. To replace the EVAP canister purge solenoid, label and disconnect the EVAP hoses and electrical connector, then detach the solenoid. To replace the Leak Detection Pump (LOP), raise the vehicle, disconnect the electrical connector and EVAP hoses, and remove the mounting bolts.
