Begin by removing the antenna mast, then take out the glove box. Disconnect the antenna cable connector from the extension cable by lifting up the clip, and remove the right kick panel. Loosen the right front wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and remove the right front wheel along with the splash shield from the right front wheelwell. Inside the wheelwell, locate and remove the rubber grommet insulator in the upper left corner, then pull the antenna cable through the grommet hole. Using an antenna wrench or a special "cap nut" socket, unscrew the cap nut that secures the antenna base to the front fender, being cautious not to scratch the paint with pliers. Pull the antenna assembly down into the wheelwell and remove it, with installation being the reverse of removal. The extension cable connects the antenna cable to the radio; to disconnect it, remove the glove box, then disconnect the extension cable from the antenna cable by lifting the clip. Detach the antenna cable clip from the small bracket on the heating/air conditioning assembly, and remove the radio to disconnect the extension cable from its backside, with installation being the reverse of removal.
