How to remove the Engine Cooling Fan on Dodge Challenger?

To disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, remove the air filter housing and, on certain models, the throttle body. For specific models, partially drain the cooling system and remove the upper radiator hose. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector and remove the cooling fan shroud assembly mounting fasteners. Guide the fan and shroud assembly out of the engine compartment. Alternatively, for other models, raise the front of the vehicle, remove the under-vehicle splash shield, and loosen the radiator lower support bolts. Push the fan shroud upward to disengage it from the mounts and lower the fan assembly out of the engine compartment. If replacing the fan motor or blade, remove the fan blade mounting nut and separate it from the motor(s). Finally, install the new fan assembly, ensuring it is properly engaged with the plastic mounts at the bottom of the radiator, and refill the cooling system if necessary.
