- Q: How do you remove and install the optional satellite navigation radio, door speakers, instrument panel speakers, and subwoofer on Dodge Durango?A:For the removal of the optional satellite navigation radio, remove the cable of the negative terminal also. Subsequently, it is necessary to the instrument panel center bezel; after this, the radio mounting screws can be taken out and the radio can be pulled out of the dash. Remove the Antenna Cable and the electrical connectors from the radio and, of course, installation is done in the same manner. For door speakers, unplug the cable for the negative terminal of the battery, then pull off the door trim panel and get rid of the three screws that show hold the speakers in place. Remove the speaker and unplug the electrical connection; the procedure of installation is within the reverse. Again remove the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, unbolt the instrument panel top and remove the mounting screws of the speakers. To remove the speaker, turn off the vehicle and pop with the help of some tools the tank in the back of the car without disconnecting the electrical connector, and to install simply reverse the process. For the subwoofer which is installed at the left rear corner of the car, the operations are, first, the removal of the negative cable from the car battery, second, the removal of the left rear quarter panel trim and third, the removal of six screws which attach the car speakers. Remove the subwoofer and release the electrical connector; installation is the reverse of this procedure.
