Raise the window completely and remove the door trim panel and watershield. Remove the fasteners at the rear glass run channel and move the channel away from the latch to provide extra working room in the latch area inside the door. Rotate the plastic retaining clips off the rods, then detach the latch links and disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the three mounting screws, which may require an impact-type screwdriver to loosen, and then take out the latch from the door. Place the latch in position and install the screws, tightening them securely. Connect the link rods and electrical connector to the latch, with the remainder of installation being the reverse of removal. For the lock cylinder, remove the outside door handle, disconnect the link, remove the mounting screw, and withdraw the lock cylinder from the door handle, with installation being the reverse of removal. For the outside handle, remove the door trim panel, disconnect the link rods from the outside handle, remove the mounting nuts, and carefully detach the handle from the door. Place the handle in position, attach the link, and install the nuts, tightening them securely.
