The airbag system is also known as Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) and is present in all these models. At least two airbags are available on all models, one for the driver and the other being a front passenger's. In the event of a frontal or head-on crash, the SRS system is intended to prevent serious injuries to its occupants. The airbag control module can be found at the center of instrument panel below transmission tunnel. Other particular versions may include side curtain bags.
